2021 Chardonnay

Grown in our Charlene Vineyard, on the north-facing slopes of the Twenty Mile Bench, this

estate Chardonnay reflects a vintage particularly well suited to cool-climate varieties. The fruit

was hand-harvested, gently handled, and fermented with native yeast in oak barrels, then aged

for 18 months on its lees in second-fill French oak. The result is a Chardonnay shaped by its site,

its season and an unhurried approach in the cellar, with the structure to continue developing for

a decade or more.
