2021 White Cap Riesling

This 2021 Estate Riesling was sourced entirely from our Charlene vineyard from original plantings. While 2021 was a cooler wet vintage, where the sun seemed absent for most of the autumn, it proved to be a banner year for white wines as acidity was retained and the thick Riesling skins protected the grapes from the rain.

By selectively hand harvesting over multiple weeks, this wine has achieved a complex minerality bolstered with vibrant citrus and stone fruit aromas. A well-struck balance of acidity and rounded mouthfeel highlights this wine’s ageing potential.
